Yatoro and Larl

Ilya “Yatoro” Mulyarchuk said that Denis “Larl” Sigitov's health problems disrupted Team Spirit preparations for The International 2025, which ultimately led to the team's elimination from the championship.

The two-time Dota 2 world champion spoke about this in an interview with Blast.tv.

"We had a lot of problems preparing for The International 2025. Larl had health issues, and we weren't sure if he would be able to play. Because of this, we didn't train together much, which greatly affected our preparation for TI.

Because of this uncertainty, our coordination and teamwork were far from ideal, and to be honest, it was obvious that we weren't in the shape to win TI this year, given how we were playing. We still gave it our all, but it just didn't work out"

Yatoro noted that the team literally did not know if Larl would be able to participate in The International 2025, which affected their preparation for the world championship. The esports player emphasized that the main problem was not the injury itself, but the uncertainty that negatively affected Team Spirit form.

The player added that, given the number of problems, the team understood that they had virtually no chance of winning TI14.

Earlier, Yaroslav “Miposhka” Naidenov spoke harshly about the problems within Team Spirit.
