Dmitry “Korb3n” Belov said that he is extremely unhappy with the economy in patch 7.40b, as the developers allegedly cut the rewards for kills in Dota 2 matches.

He spoke about this during a Twitch stream.

“You know what’s bad? Let me tell you about modern Dota. I wasn’t hitting creeps, but my score was 9–1, 3,800 gold, one kill per minute by the 10th minute. In the latest update they once again cut the money for kills, especially early ones. It’s not very clear why or for what reason. Honestly, it’s just annoying in the moment”

According to him, the game once again reduced rewards for kills in the early stage of the match. He noted that he was getting almost one kill per minute, but still only had 3,800 gold by the 10th minute of a pub game. It is worth noting that Korb3n has been saying for a long time that Dota 2 needs changes to its economy.

The Team Spirit manager has repeatedly suggested increasing rewards for early kills, as they are currently extremely low and provide little benefit, while kills in the late game already give too much of an advantage.

Earlier, Korb3n also accused BLAST of being unfair to Team Spirit and called them weak.
