Korb3n Discusses Preparation for TI15

Dmitry “Korb3n” Belov stated that this year the team has decided to prepare more thoroughly for The International than last year.

The Team Spirit manager discussed this on Twitch.

“We didn’t prepare for the last Intu—the one in Hamburg. Because Larl was in the hospital, we couldn’t prepare. We played with Mirele, but that’s completely different: different heroes, everything’s different. We did some preparation, but in reality, you could say we didn’t prepare.

For Hamburg, we prepared in the usual way—we played a lot of practice matches and drills. Discussions, drills, discussions, drills. At a regular boot camp, everything was normal. There was also a boot camp for this Int. It was unusual—we devoted some time not only to the game, so to speak, but also to other things.

No, this was a one-time event. It was a one-time boot camp specifically before Int.” The location really was different—we just wanted to step out of our comfort zone, so we decided to hold the boot camp somewhere other than where we usually do.”

Acording to a statement by Dmitry “Korb3n” Belov, the team didn’t have time to prepare thoroughly last year because of a last-minute substitution before the tournament. Nevertheles, ahead of The International 2026, the team decided to organize a boot camp under unconventional conditions to step out of their comfort zone and work on various aspects of their preparation.

As a reminder, Dmitry “Korb3n” Belov previously explained what MMR is required to make the Dota 2 youth roster.
