Korb3n Explains What MMR Is Needed to Join a Dota 2 Youth Team

Dmitry “Korb3n” Belov stated that the Dota 2 academies of prestigious esports organizations consider candidates from the top 100 on the lader.

The Team Spirit manager shared this information on Twitch.

“All academies are interested in players with a rating of 1,000 or higher. Not PTS, but actual numbers. So that’s how it is.”

Acording to Dmitry “Korb3n” Belov, this refers not to MMR in matchmaking, but to a player’s position on the Dota 2 ladder. The Team Spirit manager believes that to start a career—even on a junior team—you need to be among the top 100 players in your region.
