Andreas “Cr1t” Nielsen considers the possibility of returning to professional Dota 2 as a coach unlikely.
The former player made this statement on Twitch.
“I think it’s unlikely. I definitely won’t be like most coaches today, traveling to every tournament of the year. Instead, I’d just play. You need the same skills—to play as much as possible and be as immersed in the game as possible. It takes the same effort. If I can’t compete, then I can’t coach either. If I were to coach, it would be for a single, specific tournament or situation.”
Acording to a statement by Andreas “Cr1t” Nielsen, he has no desire to pursue a career like most modern coaches, who attend nearly every tournament with their teams. If Cr1t were ready for the demanding lifestyle of an esports player, he would prefer to return to the role of a player.
As a reminder, Andreas “Cr1t” Nielsen previously left professional Dota 2, announcing an indefinite hiatus.
