Korb3n Explained Why Topson Won’t Return to the Dota 2 Pro Scene

Dmitry “Korb3n” Belov doubts that Topias “Topson” Taavitsainen will resume his career in professional Dota 2, as the legendary player’s current skill level does not match his ambitions.

The Team Spirit manager shared his opinion on Telegram.

“First of all, does Topson even want this? Second, which team would sign him? Who among the top 6 is stronger than Topson? Tell me. Maybe I’m missing something? We could even talk about the top 8 in general, not just the top 6.

I don’t think Topson himself really wants to join a team below that level. Why would he want that?”

According to a statement by Dmitry “Korb3n” Belov, the top teams on the pro scene won’t be interested in signing Topias “Topson” Taavitsainen, since he isn’t even among the top 8 players at his position right now. Although second-tier teams might be interested in him, such a prospect, according to the Team Spirit manager, won’t appeal to Topson himself.

As a reminder, Topias “Topson” Taavitsainen previously participated in the qualifiers for The International 2026 on the same team as Sebastian “Ceb” Debs and Artur “Arteezy” Babaev.
