Mark "sikle" Lerman,
Team Spirit analyst, evaluated the Dota 2 patch 7.36c and believes that it will not significantly change the current meta, but a few heroes and builds will become less popular. Additionally, Valve has once again critically nerfed one of the best heroes from the previous update, sikle stated.
He published his analysis on his Telegram channel.
"Overall, it doesn't significantly change the current meta pool except for a couple of heroes or builds. For example, they got rid of Meteor Hammer in the mid lane, as it was giving a 75% mana regen boost for a low cost (Storm Spirit, Void Spirit), and Arcane Boots have been nerfed by a third in passive regen. Now, these heroes' builds will change in a different direction, and supports, in addition to Arcane Boots, will more often buy Null Talisman on top. At least three heroes will have different aspects taken"
In addition to changes in the current meta,
Warlock and
Dark Willow were also nerfed, which sikle compared to the significant nerf of Sand King.
"I'm very happy about the buff to Nature's Prophet and laughing out loud at the 'nerf' to one of the strongest heroes of the patch (Chaos Knight). Someone among the developers has a fetish for poking at dead arthropods, otherwise, I don't understand why they touch Sand King in literally every patch; stop it, it's dead. Another developer apparently loses to Warlock due to the regen aspect and immediately runs to nerf it (despite everyone taking the tome on high MMR). Can you imagine the faces of Dark Willow spammers? The conclusions are sufficient overall, but this is truly the year of the dragon"
According to the
Team Spirit analyst, he believes that patch 7.36c perfectly suits his team and may help them win at Riyadh Masters 2024.
It is worth noting that Valve released patch 7.36c, reworking hero statistics and aspects, and changing the current Dota 2 meta.
