Valve launched a massive ban wave in CS2

In Counter-Strike 2 a biggest ban wave since the beginning of January has started, and more than 10 thousand accounts have already been banned.

And this number is only for two weeks. In just the last 3 days around 4 thousand users were blocked. That means VAC-Live is banning more than a thousand players per day. Many users complain that they got banned only because during matchmaking they were placed in the same team with a cheater.

A lot of players are trying to appeal their bans, but not everyone succeeds. Most of the bans were issued for violating the game rules, as well as for using cheats and third-party software, which gave an unfair advantage in matches.
