Airat “Silent” Gaziev called Ilya “Yatoro” Mulyarchuk the hardest-working player of all the esports players he has worked with, but also noted that it was initially difficult to assess the player's full potential.
The
Team Spirit coach shared this opinion on YouTube.
"Young Yatoro played a lot, and in that sense, nothing has changed. He is probably the hardest-working player I have ever played and worked with. And he was like that from the start. I think when Ilya first arrived, it was difficult to say right away that he would definitely be a top-1 carry. He definitely had potential, but it wasn't a case of him coming in and immediately succeeding. I don't think there was a lot of criticism or dissatisfaction towards Ilya, but he improved a lot, tried very hard, and played a lot. Ilya is a great guy."
According to Airat “Silent” Gaziev, Ilya “Yatoro” Mulyarchuk had many problems with gameplay, despite his high potential, which the esports player was gradually able to reveal.
The
Team Spirit coach also noted that initially, the team's carry considered himself quite toxic due to his reputation in matchmaking, but in the team, he behaves very calmly and very rarely loses his temper due to failures.
"At the time when we first got together, Yatoro believed that he had a certain toxic aura from his public appearances. In general, this is probably typical for a young carry, but in the team, it's completely different. To be honest, Ilya is the most unflappable, calm person. He was like that even when he was young, and probably still is now. You can count on the fingers of one hand the number of times he's lost his temper in CW and official matches over the past five years. Maybe he doesn't like something, but he never shows it — he's always so steadfast, very mentally stable."
Earlier, Airat “Silent” Gaziev said that
Team Spirit was considering Anton “Dyrachyo” Shkredov for the role of carry in their Dota 2 lineup.
