Valve developers have made the hero
Meepo temporarily unavailable in Dota 2 matchmaking due to a critical bug.
The restriction aplies not only to ranked matches but also to other modes, including games against bots.
Despite fixing
Meepo’s consumable duplication bug in Patch 7.41, Valve has not addresed a similar vulnerability involving Town Portal Scrolls. Due to a charge synchronization error, a
Meepo clone can copy the charges of the Town Portal Scroll from the main hero, efectively allowing the scrolls to be duplicated.
As a reminder, the hero
Axe was previously unavailable for selection in Dota 2 matchmaking and demo mode prior to the release of the Dark Carnival event.
