Artem “Pioneer” Savelyev stated that
BetBoom Team has no plans to sign Timur “Fl4mus” Maryev from
Virtus.pro this year.
The CEO of the esports organization made this announcement on Telegram.
“The most common question we get is: ‘When are you going to buy FL4MUS?’ My answer: not this year.
Acquiring a player is always a complex matter. Roles, map positions, individual skill, personal qualities, mental toughness, synergy with other team members, and, of course, the buyout price (you can’t ignore that). The coaching staff is doing its utmost to assess what acquiring a player would mean for us both now and in the long run. And at this point, buying out Timur doesn’t seem like an obvious option for us.”
Acording to the statement by the head of the esports organization, the decision to buy out a player is based on a multitude of factors, including the transfer fee. However, at this time, the coaching staff is not convinced that the cost of buying out Timur “Fl4mus” Mariev will bring clear benefits to the organization.
As a reminder, Timur “Fl4mus” Mariev previously announced his departure from
BetBoom Team following the expiration of his loan agreement.
