The captain of Team Spirit explained the reason for the team's elimination from The International 2024

Yaroslav "Miposhka" Naidenov, the captain of Team Spirit, admitted that the team made many mistakes and drafted heroes they shouldn't have, which led to their elimination from The International 2024.

The esports player shared this in a post-match interview.

"We made some mistakes during the draft phase. For example, in the match against Nouns, we focused on heroes we shouldn't have been playing at all. This is why we ended up in the lower bracket. Xtreme is a strong team. I can't say we were supposed to beat them. Anything could have happened. They were just stronger"

The two-time world champion explained that the team made very strange drafts, picking heroes they hadn’t planned to play. Miposhka also emphasized that Xtreme Gaming is indeed a strong team, and he didn't rate their chances against them very highly even before the match.

It's worth noting that after Team Spirit 2-1 loss to Xtreme Gaming and their elimination from TI13, Miroslav "Mira" Kolpakov hinted he might leave the team by posting a vague statement.
