Mark “Sikle” Lerman believes that Dota 2 Patch 7.41f will have a significant impact on the meta, despite the update’s modest scope.
The Team Spirit analyst shared this opinion on Telegram.
“The patch is very short, but I’m grateful for it nonetheless. As they say, when there’s no fish, even a crayfish will do. It will have a major impact on the meta, as the changes to meta heroes are significant. By the way, last year the letter patch (7.39e) was released two months after the Inta, and just 2.5 months after that, 7.40 was already out.”
According to Mark “Sikle” Lerman, the update will add variety to the game, but fans shouldn’t expect the global 7.42 patch to be released anytime soon, since last year’s major update didn’t come out until two and a half months after The International ended.
As a reminder, Mark “Sikle” Lerman had previously predicted the imminent release of Patch 7.42 based on activity on Valve’s test servers.
