The Team Spirit analyst announced this on his personal Telegram channel.

“Oh, so Patch 7.42 is coming our way, ladies and gentlemen.”

It’s worth noting that even an approximate release date for the new patch is currently unknown. Nevertheless, Mark “sikle” Lerman believes it will happen in the foreseeable future, basing this conclusion on updates to the game’s test server, which always precede a patch release.

As a reminder, Patch 7.41e was released at the end of July this year, defining the meta for The International 2026.
