Mark “Sikle” Lerman, an analyst at Team Spirit, said that it is easy to gain MMR in Dota 2 if you spam one hero. He himself was able to climb to 60th rank in the European ladder this way.

He shared his method on Telegram:

“I reached rank 60 playing only Chen. You quickly adapt to the high skill level and will only improve if you're not stupid. Many spammers of one hero are at the top of the ladder and don't leav”

Sikle noted that you shouldn't believe those who say that it's impossible to raise your MMR by playing one hero. The analyst emphasized that there are many players with high MMR who spam one character and maintain their rating perfectly.

In addition, he admitted that by playing exclusively as Chen, he was able to reach the 60th rank in the European Dota 2 ladder.
