miCKe and Boxi set a record in Dota 2

Michael “miCKe” Wu and Samuel “Boxi” Swan became the first representatives of the Dota 2 pro scene to win a thousand maps in official matches.

Ben “Noxville” Stinhuizen shared the news about Team Liquid's achievement on X.

“After the second game in the BLAST Slam 6 semifinals, miCKe and Boxi became the first pair in Dota 2 to win 1,000 games together.”

The record was set after Team Liquid's victory on the second map against OG in the BLAST Slam 6 semifinals. Michael “miCKe” Wu and Samuel “Boxi” Swan have been playing on the same team since 2017. Lin ‘Xxs’ Jing and Ye “Boboka” Zhiyang came closest to the record holders in terms of the number of maps won, with 989 victories to their credit.

Earlier, Wang “Ame” Chun-yu became the first player in the Dota 2 pro scene to play 100 official maps as the Phantom Lancer hero.
