Team Falcons spoke about the shocking consequences of Patch 7.38 at DreamLeague Season 25

Curtis “Aui_2000” Ling, coach of Team Falcons, indicated that DreamLeague Season 25 participants suggested to the organizers to ban the use of a new bug in patch 7.38. To this, the organizers said that it was a bug, but rather a purposeful part of the update.

He relayed this on X (Twitter) platform.

Saberlight: “What is the limit on the number of times the Revenant’s Brooch bug is used that gains more damage from illusions than is normal before disqualification is the punishment?”

Aui_2000: “Probably a lot since it seems teams had requested ESL to block it and they said it is working as intended.”

Saberlight: “At least we can’t pick Anti-Mage”

Thus, the bugs in 7.38 forced the organizers to create new rules to cover the usage of Anti-Mage and the purchasing of Lotus Orb. As is the case with the suggestions that players wanted, the use of the bug would make restrictions unnecessary, but the decision was made to ban the hero and the item along with the bug.

The condition, however, has improved afterwards as Valve met player outcry and promptly posted an update blitzing a ton of bugs.
