The Dota 2 Team Falcons carry published a comment on the incident on his personal Twitter page.

"Some crazy stuff happening at the CS2 Major. Fans rushing the stage and breaking the trophy. Unbelievable cringe."

Due to the incident, the match between G2 and MOUZ was halted. The pause lasted for about half an hour, after which the teams resumed the battle. Organizers promised to repair the damaged trophy before the tournament's final. It was revealed that the provocation stemmed from conflicts between two organizations vying for partnership with G2.
