Luká "Lukawa" Nasuashvili believes that incidents like the one involving the trophy damage at the PGL CS2 Major Copenhagen 2024 are more typical of football, and representatives of esports should not introduce such elements from traditional sports disciplines.
The
BetBoom Team Manager comment on this matter was published in his personal Telegram channel.
"Esports is turning into football, ahahahaha.
Separate fan sections, stage invasions, chaos.
This is not the aspect where we should strive for mainstream sports :)"
During the PGL Major Copenhagen 2024 CS2 tournament, unidentified individuals stormed the stage and caused a brawl, during which the winner's trophy was damaged. The organizers themselves stated that they would restore the trophy before the final.
It's worth noting that earlier, the carry of the
BetBoom Team Dota 2 roster commented on the team's progress following their second-place finish at DreamLeague Season 22.
