Artur “Arteezy” Babaev would like the developers to adjust the variance in the utility of Tier 3–4–5 neutral items in the new Dota 2 patch.
The player shared these expectations on his personal X page.
“I hope that in the upcoming patch, they’ll somehow adjust the utility range of Tier 3–4–5 neutral items (especially Tier 5). It seems to me that I lost several games lasting over 60 minutes simply because, as the first carry, I didn’t get a single damage item, while the enemy carry got a Stygian Desolator.”
According to Artur “Arteezy” Babaev, the main problem lies in the excessive disparity in the utility of items within the same tier. The random drop of a neutral item can significantly influence the outcome of a drawn-out match, especially when it comes to Tier 5 items. Arteezy believes that Valve should make their stats more balanced so that the outcome of the late game depends less on chance.
As a reminder, Yaroslav “NS” Kuznetsov previously speculated on when the next global patch for Dota 2 would be released.
