BC.Game head coach Viktor “TaZ” Wojtas commented on the pressure faced by Oleksandr “s1mple” Kostyliev and Denis “electroNic” Sharipov after their comeback to the CS2 professional scene.
In an interview with HLTV, the coach noted that both players are in a challenging psychological situation due to extremely high expectations from the community.
According to TaZ, s1mple and electroNic are expected to deliver immediate results and return to their previous level, despite the fact that many fans and analysts doubt that such a comeback is even possible. At the same time, the task of the coaching staff is to create conditions in which the players can once again unlock their potential, and also give the Portuguese members of the roster a chance to prove their worth.
TaZ emphasized that the status of CS2 legends only increases the pressure on Kostyliev and Sharipov. In his opinion, constant attention and skepticism from the public create serious mental difficulties, which the players have to deal with on a daily basis.
Nevertheless, s1mple has already reminded everyone of his class at IEM Krakow 2026, where he won a 1v4 clutch and helped BC.Game snatch a victory from Legacy, a team that is part of the world’s top 20 CS2 rankings.
