Due to unforeseen travel complications, Eldjon "Akashi" Andales will not be competing for Talon Esports at the Elite League. Alik "V-Tune" Vorobey will stand in for him as the carry player.

The announcement was made on the club's official Twitter page.

"Due to unforeseen travel issues, Akashi won't be able to join the team at the Elite League. Alik 'V-Tune' Vorobey will be playing in his place"

According to the team's statement, V-Tune will be the stand-in for the entire tournament, not just for one match. The exact nature of the problem preventing Akashi from joining the roster has not been disclosed yet but is related to travel.

"Please continue to support the team, and we look forward to Akashi rejoining us at ESL One Birmingham"

However, Talon Esports clarified that Akashi remains a part of the team and will compete with them at the next major tournament, ESL One Birmingham.

Talon Esports Roster:

  • Alik "V-Tune" Vorobey (stand-in)

  • Ki "CHYuan" Eng

  • Chung "Ws" Wei Shen

  • Tri "Jhocam" Kuncoro

  • Pan "Ponyo" Sze Szuang

Let's recall that earlier Alexey "STORM" Tumanov stated that the format of the Elite League will significantly differ from other Dota 2 tournaments this season.
