T1 has won ESL One Summer 2021

T1 became the winner of ESL One Summer 2021, defeating Virtus.pro in the Grand Final with a score of 3:2. For the victory in the tournament Т1 earned $175,000.

T1 after a successful performance at AniMajor stayed in Ukraine and was invited to participate in the tournament from ESL. Having beaten Vikin.gg and Quincy Crew with a score of 2:0, T1 faced Virtus.pro in the Upper Bracket Final and lost to them with a score of 1:2. But despite the defeat, T1 managed to stay calm, defeat Alliance in the Lower Bracket Final and reach the Grand Final. In a spectacular duel between the best teams of CIS and Southeast Asia, both participates showed their best game. Virtus.pro was one step away from victory, but now T1 were able to adapt to their opponent and defeat him.

ESL One Summer 2021 was held online on June 16 - 20, 2021. 12 teams participated in the tournament. The prize pool is $400,000.
