PSG.LGD has won WePlay AniMajor 2021

Chinese team PSG.LGD became the winner of WePlay AniMajor 2021, defeating Evil Geniuses in the grand final with a score of 3:0.

PSG.LGD started their participation in the tournament from the group stage and haven't lost a game series during the entire tournament. For the victory at AniMajor, the Chinese team received $200,000 and 500 DPC points.

Silver medalists, Evil Geniuses, received $100,000 and 450 DPC points for the second place. This is the second time a team from America lost to China in a grand final of Major. Last time, at ONE Esports Singapore Major 2021, EG lost to Invictus Gaming, ending the match with a score of 2:3.

The third place was taken by the T1 team, which unexpectedly showed a good game. However, in the lower bracket final, they lost to EG, earning $ 75,000, 400 DPC points and an invitation to The International 10.

WePlay AniMajor was held in Kyiv at the WePlay Esports Arena Kyiv on June 2 - 13, 2021. The prize pool of the tournament is $500,000, as well as 2,700 DPC points required to qualify for the main tournament of Dota 2 - The International.
