Invictus Gaming has won ONE Esports Singapore Major 2021

The Chinese team Invictus Gaming has become the winner at ONE Esports Singapore Major 2021 Dota 2 by defeating American roster Evil Geniuses in the Grand Final. For the victory in the tournament, Invictus Gaming earned $200,000 and 500 DPC points.

 

Invictus Gaming and Evil Geniuses took first place in their regional DPC leagues. Thanks to this, they started their participation in the tournament from the Upper Bracket of the playoffs. The first time the two teams fought in Round 2 of the playoffs, EG kicked off IG into the Lower Bracket. The chinese team had to fight the unstoppable peruvians from Thunder Predator, and then the european kings - Team Secret. In the final of the Lower Bracket, for the right to advance to the Grand Final, Invictus Gaming fought against their well-known opponents - PSG.LGD, who were also defeated by EG. The Chinese derby ended with a 2:1 victory for IG.

In the Grand Final, Evil Geniuses showed a good start, winning two maps in a row. However, thanks to an incredible comeback, the Chinese took the victory on the third map, and then won the next two and became the champions of the first major LAN tournament in Dota 2 in the last year.

The ONE Esports Singapore Major 2021 tournament is held in Singapore from March 27 to April 4, in which 18 teams compete for a prize pool of $500,000 and 2,700 DPC points.
