Alex “Mauisnake” Ellenberg believes that Maxim “Kyousuke” Lukin became too confident in his success, which negatively affected his preparation.
The analyst shared his opinion on Telegram.
“He’s clearly regressed in some areas, and I have a strong feeling that fame went to his head too soon. The guy vapes so heavily, it’s like he’s deliberately trying to give himself brain damage—it’s just crazy.
He probably already thinks he’s on top of the world. Why on earth would he listen to advice from a boomer like karrigan with a 0.74 rating or zonic? The worst thing that could possibly happen to Kyousuke is if OverDrive is still in his ear, telling him, ‘You’re already a superstar, you’re already the one.’ If you read OverDrive’s tweets, you might think that Kyousuke is already a finished product, that he’s already the second Donk, and that the fact he hasn’t reached his full potential is supposedly 100 percent the fault of Zonic and Karrigan.”
According to Alex “Mauisnake” Ellenberg, Maxim “Kyousuke” Lukin started feeling like a star player too early, after which he began to pay less attention to the opinions of his more experienced teammates. Mauisnake is also convinced that the player is being negatively influenced by comments from Alexey “OverDrive” Biryukov, who is fueling a false sense of confidence in his own superiority.
As a reminder, Leonid “Chopper” Vishnyakov previously reflected on the reasons behind Maxim “Kyousuke” Lukin’s decline in performance, blaming the esports player’s team for it.
