Said "SumaiL" Hassan has lost his lawsuit against the organization
Evil Geniuses, where he claimed that the club took advantage of his naivety in signing the contract.
Journalist Richard Lewis shared this information.
According to the contract signed in 2016, SumaiL received EG shares. After the organization's purchase by Peak6 Strategic Capital in 2019, Hassan's package was converted, and his lawyers claimed that the club did not clearly explain the changes and imposed new conditions.
After The International 2019, negotiations began about SumaiL's possible departure. The new contract provided the player with a salary of $20,000 but significantly reduced it if he joined another team.
In the end, the jury ruled in favor of
Evil Geniuses in the dispute. SumaiL did not receive satisfaction for his claims. The legal process lasted for over two years.
Recall that earlier Quinn "Quinn" Callahan, the midlaner of
Gaimin Gladiators, spoke about SumaiL, noting one of his main achievements.
