Stray228 evaluated Quartero's Curios

Oleg “Stray228” Bocharov is disappointed with the Quartero's Curios in-game event in Dota 2, as he believes that players receive useless items as rewards.

The streamer stated this on Twitch.

"There's no point in these free items. You can't sell them, everyone has them. What's the point? There's no point. The items are worthless. That's why I think Gaben is doing something stupid: 'Let me make a free Compendium."

According to Oleg “Stray228” Bocharov, the gaming event is a free version of the standard Compendium, except for the format of awarding prizes. Nevertheless, the streamer considers this approach pointless for both Valve and the players, since the developers do not receive any income from the event, and the players get useless items.

"In essence, all that came out was free Compendium content that was available before. Teleportation effects, some clothes. He didn't add them to the chests, but made them achievements for everyone. But this doesn't work for Gaben, because he doesn't earn anything from it, nor for the people. I don't know who has the motivation to knock out useless free clothes that everyone has. What's the exclusivity?"

Let us remind you that earlier, Oleg “Stray228” Bocharov linked the changes in patch 7.39d for Dota 2 to the upcoming The International 2025 tournament.
