Somnus on the loss to PSG.LGD that prevented them from brake Gladiators winstreak

Azure Ray player Lu «Somnus» Yao joked that due to the loss to PSG.LGD at Bali Major 2023, his team could not go further and defeat the Gaimin Gladiators.

Somnus said he’s kinda frustrated after they got eliminated by PSG.LGD cuz he thought they can go further. He jokes that he already told his teammates that they will end GG’s winning strike but PSG.LGD beat them halfway, so it’s really PSG.LGD and xiao8’s fault that GG can won five constructive tournaments. He said after the drafting phase of the elimination game between them and PSG.LGD they knew they have already lost.
He said if xiao8 pick a weaker line up in that game they will be able to go further and maybe can even beat GG, and also can acquire a slot at Riyadh Masters too.
Bali Major 2023 was held at Ayana Estate, Bali from June 29th to July 9th. 18 best teams, based on the results of the Dota Pro Circuit Tour 3, participated in the tournament. The Dota 2 Major prize pool was $500,000 and 3500 DPC points.
Azure Ray lost to PSG.LGD in the lower bracket of the Bali Major 2023 playoffs. Azure Ray took 7th-8th place in the tournament, earning $12,500 and 300 DPC points. Somnus and his team will play regional qualifiers for The International 2023.
