Alexei “Solo” Berezin stated that his Cyber Goose team played terribly at the qualifier for The International 2025, losing to
Quantum. Nevertheless, he still hopes to make it to the grand finals.
He said during a stream by Yaroslav “NS” Kuznetsov.
“Just played terribly, it happens. Talked a little bit, sorted out mistakes and came back stronger. Here we shit ourselves once, I hope we don't **** again”
The cybersportsman noted that he still hopes to qualify for the grand finals via the lower qualifying grid. He also admitted that the team has been playing practices mostly with mid-tier teams, as the strong ones were unavailable.
“Hopefully we can. But to be honest, we didn't directly play KV with strong teams - with medium teams. The strong ones weren't available”
Solo emphasized that the scrimmages with these teams went well, but in the official meeting against
Quantum the lineup forgot the basics of Dota 2 - that's what led to the defeat.
Recall that earlier for the first time in the history of Dota 2 team won in an official match, despite the loss of the throne.
