During an official qualifier match for The International 2025, a true paradox occurred — the victory went to the team whose Ancient was destroyed by creeps.

It happened during the Nemiga Gaming vs. eSpoiled match.

The historic moment happened in the 52nd minute of the second map. When Nemiga Gaming had already stormed eSpoiled base, they thought they had lost and wrote GG in the general chat, admitting defeat. However, at the same moment their creeps finished off the enemy throne, which should have brought them victory.

However, the tournament organizers conceded defeat to eSpoiled, citing clear rules regarding such situations. The administrators pointed out that by writing GG, the team surrendered, giving the victory to their opponents, and everything that happened after that was irrelevant. As a result, the bout officially ended with a score of 2-0 in favor of Nemiga Gaming.

Some analysts note that the squad could have contested the defeat if they had written in the chat immediately after GG that it was a missclick. But this did not happen, so they have no chance to challenge the result.
