Shopify Rebellion could disband after The International 2023

The current roster of Shopify Rebellion in Dota 2 may be disbanded following their defeat in the TI12 playoffs.

Notably, this speculation was put forward by three well-known streamers, possibly indicating the circulation of insider information about the club's management plans.

Johan "Gorgc" Stefanovski stated that Shopify Rebellion has already shown their maximum potential, a sentiment echoed by N0tail, who believes it's time to disband the team.

"N0tail: When will they [Shopify Rebellion players] stop? When are you going to leave this team for Evil Geniuses?

Gorgc: They have been playing together for a very long time, and it seems like they won't achieve anything more now - this is their best possible outcome"

Yaroslav "NS" Kuznetsov also criticized Shopify Rebellion, suggesting that their lineup might face a disbandment after The International 2023.

"I already mentioned after some event recently, I think a full disband awaits SR. This is the Rubicon, that's it. There is no DPC, the paradigm is changing, now you can't travel to tournaments for free. And who the *** needs such SR at tournaments? Well, no, Arthur [Arteezy] still plays there and so on, they might call him somewhere, but damn, this is also such a thing, I'm not sure that often. They will more likely call a guy like Kasane to play somewhere than this Arteezy"

Svyatoslav "Frank-" Orlovsky, the manager of One Move, directly commented on how the defeat to TSM could lead to a disbandment for Shopify Rebellion.

No official statements have been made by the management of the Shopify Rebellion club as of yet, but it is possible that an official announcement will be made after the conclusion of TI12.
