Martin “Saksa” Sazdov, a player of
Team Yandex, suggested that Valve should bring back the option to watch high-ranked pubs, since it has always been an important part of the Dota 2 community.
The world champion shared his view on the situation in the club’s Telegram-channel.
“Bring back the ability to watch Immortal high-rank matches. The fact that regular players can’t observe such games anymore, is really hurting Dota. Watching top pubs has always been an important part of the community, and this feature needs to be returned“
According to the pro player, the developers’ decision to ban watching high-rank pubs was a mistake. In his words, it only hurts the Dota 2 community, since this feature was always an important part of the game itself. He noted that the ability to watch replays should be returned, because it’s neccessary for the fans.
However many pro players, on the contrary, consider Valve’s decision to be the right one, something they have been asking for a long time. Supposedly, by closing high-rank pubs, pro players can calmly develop new strategies without worrying that the opponents will figure them out earlier.
Earlier, Denis “Larl” Sigítov criticized Magomed “Collapse” Khalilov for an expensive purchase in Dota 2.
