Jonas "SabeRLight-" Volek stated that Alexander "TORONTOTOKYO" Hertek threatened to physically harm him at their first in-person meeting during a Dota 2 LAN event, hinting at his readiness for a confrontation.
This statement was made by the
Shopify Rebellion offline player during a discussion of the conflict between esports players on the ALL CHAT podcast on the Cap Casts YouTube channel.
"He played
Winter Wyvern like garbage. I tried to get him to start playing properly, and he didn't like that, saying that when he sees me at a LAN, he'll break my face. This was a few weeks ago. Let's see, Mr. Tokyo."
The conflict between the players occurred during a matchmaking game. Alexander "TORONTOTOKYO" Hertek, dissatisfied with SabeRLight-'s gameplay, started threatening the esports player live on air.
"What a moron SabeRLighT- is, I'll approach this guy at LAN and genuinely smash his face, no kidding!"
The upcoming meeting between the esports players may take place at BetBoom Dacha Dubai 2024, starting on January 4, 2024.
Recall that earlier, SabeRLight- made a surprising statement about his future career, confessing to receiving offers from several top teams before joining the
Shopify Rebellion roster.
