S1mple said which side is easier to win matches on Anubis

Alexander “s1mple” Kostylev said that after the changes on Anubis, the map became even worse for CT, and it became easier for T side to win.

He told this during an interview at IEM Kraków 2026.

“The map became easier for the defense side? No-no. It became even worse for CT. Maybe it would be a good idea to change the attack spawn positions, to move them a bit deeper. Maybe then the map would be more balanced”

The BC.Game sniper noted that he likes the changes on the map, but he does not consider them balanced. According to him, playing as CT on Anubis became even harder, and if developers want to balance the map, they should change the spawn positions.

Nevertheless the player emphasized that the mid of matches on Anubis became more interesting, and playing in the center, though more dangerous, is also more fun.

Recall that earlier Danil “donk” Kryshkovets criticized the updated Anubis, although previously he supported Valve’s decision.
