S1mple and ZywOo faced each other in a duel at IEM Atlanta: who came out stronger

The match between BC.Game and Team Vitality at IEM Atlanta 2026 gave fans another showdown between two legendary snipers: Alexander “S1mple” Kostyliev and Mathieu “ZywOo” Herbaut.

By the end of the series, neither player managed to get a clear advantage in the overall fights - both esports players killed each other five times. However, in the most important AWP duels, the French Vitality sniper turned out stronger, finishing the mini-duel with a 4:1 score in his favor.

For S1mple and ZywOo, this was already their second head-to-head meeting in CS2. The first time they faced each other was at IEM Kraków 2026 in January. Back then, the French player also came out ahead in personal duels, winning them 7:3, while Vitality confidently closed out the series without much trouble.

The match in Atlanta itself ended with a 2:0 victory for Vitality. BC.Game played the tournament with a changed lineup: the team was helped by stand-in Senzu and analyst Robin “ScrunK” Röpke, who temporarily stepped into the main roster.
