Riyadh Masters 2025 participants rebel against tournament organizers' decision

Dmitry “Korb3n” Belov, manager of Team Spirit, said that almost all teams expressed dissatisfaction with the decision of the Riyadh Masters 2025 organizers to place the game tables in the arena too close to each other, and tried to protest during the general conference.

He said in his Telegram channel:

"Actually having the tables close together is a very bad decision. 90% of the playoff teams were not happy about it and even organized a managers' conference in Discord (I also participated in it), which, unfortunately, was ****"

According to him, the organizers changed the layout of the stage: now the tables of the opponents are located at arm's length. The tournament participants were so outraged that they called a meeting of managers to discuss the situation and try to influence it.

However, as Korb3n pointed out, the organizers simply ignored the teams' protests, and there are no plans to change the location of the stage at the moment. There are no official comments from EWC yet.
