This is indicated by data from a study conducted by journalists from WhichBingo, who aimed to determine which games are played by the smartest users.

A total of 1,002 gamers participated in the study, where they also took an intelligence test. This test assessed their cognitive abilities in four key areas: verbal skills, mathematical abilities, logical reasoning, and visual perception.

The average IQ level of LoL enthusiasts was 120, while CS players averaged 118, and Dota 2 fans had an average of 111. The results of the study immediately sparked debates online, with many fans arguing that Dota 2 is actually more complex in terms of drafting, building strategies, and other aspects.

Others pointed out that a sample size of 1,000 people is too small to provide accurate results about players in different esports disciplines.
