Evgeniy Raiz believes that Boris “Magixx” Vorobyev is responsible for Team Spirit losses, emphasizing that he cannot maintain discipline inside the CS2 roster.

He talked about this during a livestream.

“A lot of people flame Magixx, but if we think about it objectively, was there anything like this under Leonid ‘Chopper’? There were many different things under him too. But of course, when the team throws 30 rounds in 3v1, 2v1 and 5v3 situations, then the captain and coach are guilty because they can’t keep the players disciplined. Under Chopper this didn’t happen. But Chopper had so much experience...

You don’t become a captain in one day, but Spirit’s level demands that. So Magixx is cringing insanely hard, but that’s expected and predictable. It’s like ordering a salmon steak in a restaurant and then saying: ‘Ew, is this fish or what?’ It’s basically the same thing.

I think Spirit expected six months or even a year for adaptation and knew this kind of cringe would happen. The question is that these players are not new to the game. It wasn’t only Magixx who threw all those 3v1, 5v3 and 2v1 rounds — experienced players also didn’t help the captain. Vitality would never forgive mistakes like that”

Raiz believes the club expected a long adaptation period for Magixx, but noted that things like this should not happen in a tier-1 team. According to him, the situation under Chopper was better, and the roster did not lose games in such a way.

At the same time, he also stressed that not all the blame should be put on Magixx, pointing out that experienced tier-1 players also played terribly in several lost situations, which cannot be blamed only on the captain.
