Quinn Callahan stated that he supports the
Aurora Dota 2 roster despite the team’s struggles, which he attributes to Yegor “Nightfall” Grigorenko.
The player made this statement on YouTube.
"By the way, I still think Aurora is a sham. Every draft is the same for them. If a patch comes out that’s unfavorable for Aurora, this roster will need a lot of work.
Mikoto has the smallest hero pool of any mid laner in the world, Nightfall plays a very narrow set of carries, Mira is limited to literally a few ranged supports, and Kaori is the five-man with the most limited hero pool in the world. I think Aurora is just one update away from becoming a complete disaster.
And yet, I like Aurora. I love rooting for them because Nightfall has gone from being a villain to someone genuinely likable.”
Nevertheles, Quinn Callahan noted that he considers
Aurora’s recent suceses to be fleeting, as the team has a severely limited hero pool, and the release of a new patch could have an extremely negative impact on their level of preparation. Quinn believes that any new update could turn the
Aurora roster into underdogs on the pro scene.
As a reminder, earlier Yegor “Nightfall” Grigorenko reflected on changing his role within the
Aurora Dota 2 roster.
