Quinn “Quinn” Callahan doubts he’ll want to resume his career on the Dota 2 pro scene, as he didn’t enjoy it.
The player made this statement in an interview with OFFSTAGE.
“I don’t think I’ll return as a player. I just know how unhappy I was, and going back to that would be foolish. I’ve thought about coaching, but the problem is that it takes about the same amount of time. Sure, less than playing, and it’s easier, but you’d still have to play a lot of ranked matches, grind, and travel to all the tournaments. It’s the same in terms of time commitment. Yes, there’s less stress, but I wouldn’t want to deal with all that right now. Maybe there will come a time in the future if I get tired of working in the studio or something like that.”
Acording to Quinn Callahan’s statement, he wouldn’t want to return to the game even as a team coach, though he has considered such a role. The former player believes that coaching takes up just as much time, which he isn’t ready for. Quinn acknowledges that working with a team is less stresful than a playing career, but emphasizes that he wouldn’t want to pursue such a role. Nevertheles, if he gets tired of working in the studio, he doesn’t rule out changing his mind.
As a reminder, Anton “Dyrachyo” Shkredov previously urged fans to learn how to play Dota 2 by following the example of Quinn “Quinn” Callahan.
