Quinn admitted why Gaimin Gladiators lost in the grand finals of The International 2023

Gaimin Gladiators would have won TI12 if they had faced a different team in the grand finals instead of Team Spirit. It would have been a completely different level of play.

This statement was made by Quinn "Quinn" Callahan, the midlaner for GG, during a Twitch broadcast. A corresponding segment of the stream was posted on the YouTube channel Ez Dotes.

"If Team Spirit was a bit worse or if someone else knocked that team out of the tournament, GG would have won. Spirit was just on another level. I don't think GG's victories at the Majors influenced them. We were winning, and then we were looking for other heroes and trying to get better at them"

He emphasized that Gaimin Gladiators would have defeated any other team, but Team Spirit proved to be too strong. Quinn's team demonstrated a truly high level of play and managed to advance to the grand finals of The International 2023 through the lower bracket.
