Ivan "Pure" Moskalenko, the captain of
Tundra Esports, reached out to Valve as a top-3 finisher at TI13, asking the Dota 2 developers to unban his smurf account, as well as implement a few other important changes to the game.
He made this appeal on his X (Twitter) page, where he also tagged the official Valve account.
“Top 3 isn’t the worst result, and in the end, I’m really proud of my team. But as a top-3 player at The International, can I ask to remove Immortal Draft, bring back the dodge list that isn’t working, and finally allow pro players to have one smurf account (unban mine, please)?”
The esports player shared a list of proposed game changes. He believes that pro Dota 2 players should be allowed to have smurf accounts and also requested the removal of the ban on his secondary account. Pure also asked to fix the dodge list, which currently works incorrectly.
Although he tagged Valve’s official account in his post, the developers have not yet responded to his request, and his smurf account remains banned.
It’s worth noting that Valve previously left a secret message in the trailer for the new Dota 2 hero Kez, which was decoded by fans.
