Yaroslav “Miposhka” Naidenov stated that he put in a lot of work with the team at The International 2026, which led to
Team Spirit’s victory in the Grand Final.
The Dota 2 coach made these remarks on YouTube.
“It wasn’t easy. You could tell the guys were still nervous during the qualifiers; they made some mistakes here and there, but the entire journey to the Grand Final—that’s just… the result of all the hard work we put in. It was incredibly satisfying to watch, and the results speak for themselves.
In the Grand Final, our opponent was a very tough one, I’ll tell you that. It feels great to win—I even shed a tear. It happened at TI10, and at TI13 it was a breeze. But this time, I was completely overwhelmed by emotion in that moment. I was really discouraged. It’s a rush—it feels so good to win. I’ve never lost a grand final at a major tournament. I don’t even know what that feels like.
Respect to our opponents—they played really well. I feel a little bad for No[o]ne, though; he really gave it his all. Satanic still has his whole career ahead of him, and I think the same goes for the others. But No[o]ne… Sorry, there can only be one winner.”
According to Yaroslav “Miposhka” Naidenov, he’s pleased to see the results of his work, and
Team Spirit’s victory in the TI15 Grand Final confirms its quality. The coach admitted that the victory over
PARIVISION in the decisive series evoked very strong emotions in him, comparable to
Team Spirit’s previous victories at The International. Miposhka also joked that he has never lost a grand final at a major tournament in his new role, and he praised the
PARIVISION players, noting their high level of preparation.
