Klement “Puppey” Ivanov said that he is tired of his career as a professional Dota 2 player and is not sure he wants to continue spending time on it in the future, despite feeling he has potential.
The player made this statement on YouTube.
“Right now, I like talking more than playing, if you know what I mean. I think I've played enough. It's not that I can't play anymore. I don't understand if there's any point in playing. I don't know if it's worth spending my life on it.”
According to Clement “Puppey” Ivanov, his career has now entered a period of uncertainty, where he joins random teams and tries to play more for fun. He also admitted that he does not rule out the possibility of pursuing other activities unrelated to Dota 2, as he is not sure he wants to take on other roles in the gaming community.
"I don't know. I always thought that if my Dota career didn't work out, I would do something else. I don't even know if I want to do something in Dota itself later on. I don't know...
For now, I'm playing in random stacks for fun, training. I'll just try to get better at the game. If it doesn't work out, they'll ask me to be a coach. Maybe someday I'll take up coaching, but I'm not quite sure about that yet."
Earlier, Clement “Puppey” Ivanov gave a candid assessment of Ammar “ATF” al-Assaf's behavior in Dota 2 matchmaking.
