Lone Druid Dota 2 bug

Players have discovered a new way to avoid losing MMR after a match loss by crashing the server while playing as Meepo or Lone Druid.

Users report that the bug works with Lone Druid or Meepo, who must buy an Ogre Seal Totem. To crash the server, the player just needs to activate the neutral item using the bear or clone, and then move it to the hero's backpack mid-cast.

This action causes the server to crash, resulting in the match not being recorded. Consequently, players do not lose MMR, and the public match winners do not gain any MMR either. Many players are deliberately crashing the Dota 2 server before their team loses, preserving their MMR and preventing the winners from earning theirs.

Recently, Quinn "Quinn" Callahan urged Valve to conduct a massive wave of bans due to such exploit abuse.
