Quinn "Quinn" Callahan, the midlaner for
Gaimin Gladiators, believes that developers should impose mass bans on all exploit abusers in Dota 2, as breaking the rules for MMR gain is unacceptable in a competitive game.
The pro player shared his thoughts on his X (Twitter) page.
"People who abuse game-breaking bugs for MMR should be permanently banned. It's so **** dishonest and disgusting. I'm sick of the lack of competitive integrity"
Quinn emphasized that players caught exploiting bugs should face lifetime bans. The player expressed his disappointment over the large number of Dota 2 players who used the Mirana bug to crash servers and avoid losing MMR after match losses.
Notably, Valve responded fairly quickly to player complaints and released an urgent Dota 2 update to prevent further exploit abuse.
