Fans are worried that the release of a new Dota 2 hero, Ringmaster, may be pushed back until next year. Others have begun posting jokes around it, capitalizing on the uncertainty about the game.
Talk on Reddit has shifted to the new hero.
One picture was shared by a user poking fun at Valve possibly announcing a delay in the release of Ringmaster until next year. Other people began jokily searching for subliminal messages within the latter’s video announcement that support this hypothesis. Most were jokes but some players are genuinely concerned that developers could actually delay release of the hero.

Ringmaster was mentioned already at The International in 2023 and there has been no word from Valve since then on character development or anything else about him or her. Also, as much as many would like to see the character released during The International 2024, there is no such commitment by any developer yet; it is just fan speculation.
It should be noted that Ringmaster in Dota 2 had already surpassed
Muerta, who had held its record since 2022.
