Passive income from land
To buy land in LOK, you need to have some ETH in your wallet and go to the League of Kingdoms collection on the OpenSea. You also need a Metamask wallet on the Ethereum network (you can read how to connect a Metamask and set up a network here). Then you need to choose the land from the collection. Landowners get a certain amount of DAI tokens daily. In the future, the developers plan to change DAI to their LOKA token. You can find a table with the number of tokens received per month below.
After you get the land, you will need to attach it to your game account in LOK. Launch the game, go to your profile, select the NFT tab, then LANDS, press the star and it is done.
Now you can up the level of your land by gathering resources on its territory, or by spending crystals. The option with crystals is much faster, but also more expensive.
To calculate the profit from this, we will take land level 1 as an example, which now costs about $100. On average, Eth grows by 500% per year, so the income for the year will be approximately $500 only on the growth of ETH. In addition, land can also rise in price. We are reminded that this is a huge risk, and in order to use this strategy, you must be sure of the growth of ETH and the LOK project. It is impossible to give a reliable forecast regarding this method, but if we assume that ETH will grow by 500%, and the project itself will develop good and increase its audience, then the potential profit can be from 600 to 1000% of the initial amount. In addition, you will regularly receive Dai tokens, and guaranteed passive income from them will be 40 Loka tokens because in one year they will change the system to Lands 3.0 system, as indicated in the table above.
Lvl Up and resale the lands
Upgraded lands can be resold if you don't plan to collect them. To do this, it will be enough to go to Opensea, connect the metamask, and put it up for sale (you can check how to do this here). For example, the cheapest Tier 1 land costs around 100$, while the most expensive Tier 7 land costs between $1,500 and $2,000.
How to upgrade land in LOK? To level up the land you need a certain amount of dev points, after reaching a certain amount, the land will automatically level up.
How many Dev points do you need to upgrade land in LOK? For example, let's take the level 1 land and calculate how many crystals are needed to up it. According to the table below, we see that we need a certain number of dev points to level up it to level 4 (218,232). Lets do the simple calculation and subtract the number of dev points of land lvl1. 218,232 - 45,740 = 172,492 dev points. So we need 172,492 points.
Now we need to find out how many crystals we should have to lvl up the land into LOK. To do this we need to convert our dev points into crystals. To get one point, you need to spend 5 crystals on your land or 40 on neighboring ones, also you can get Devpoints by farming resources (50.000 resources on your land-1dev point, on any server), moreover, you get one dev point for every 5 crystals which you farmed.
For example, we want to level up the land with crystals on your own. Above, we calculated that we need 172,492 points to level up the land from level 1 to level 4. All that remains for us is to carry out simple calculations by multiplying this number by the number of crystals for the dev point. 172 492 * 5 = 862 460. 862 460 is the exact amount of crystals we need to spend to level up the earth from level 1 to 4.
As a bonus, we also calculated how many resources you need to get on your land to upgrade it 172,492 * 50000= 8,624,600,000. 8.6 billion resources on all LOK servers.
And of course, do not forget about the mines. 172,492 * 5 = 862,460. You will need to get 862,460 crystals from the mines if you want to level the ground using this method alone.
It is also important not to forget that the earth is shaking not only by you, but by all players, on all servers. Therefore, other players will also help you in leveling and you will end up spending less, but if you abandon the game, the earth may drop in level, as the developers are constantly increasing the number of Dev points needed for leveling.
And so we pumped the land from level 1 to level 4 and now it costs not $100, but $300-400, which means that you can get about $200-300 profit.

Resources Sale
At the moment, this is one of the most popular and easiest ways to make money in LOK. It is suitable for absolutely everyone, all you need is to mint the resources in your profile (you can see how to do this in this guide). Then put them up for sale on TOFUNFT. The price for 10m of any resource is about 0.35 MATIC.
If you have upgraded your castle and army, you will be able to collect about 20-30 million resources per day only by farming, which is not bad, but not enough. The main case of resource farming is getting them from other players. By looting bots, you can take out up to 200 million of each resource for a full day of active play, which is approximately equal to 28 Matic per day. And you will be able to receive this amount of resources every 2-3 days. On average this is 350 Matic per month. Now Matic is about $0.45 and we are at the bottom of the market, which means that you will invest in MATIC by selling resources. For example, for a quarter you received about 1050 MATICat a rate of $0.45, which is about $475. But when MATIC returns to its peak value, this $475 will turn into $3000. Decide for yourself if it's worth it.
Sell the castle

Guild
This is probably the most unusual way in the current category. There are not so many buyers for this product, but if you find them, they will not skimp.

In the official LOK discord you can participate in giveaways to get crystals, skins, and many other things from LOK. This method is perfect for beginners and has no risk. Add to this the fact that distributions happen quite often and have some bot-defense system, you have a good chance of getting a drop from the game developers.
Dragons
Recent innovations, let's skip the speculation and resale, instead focus on the bonuses they give. It is not yet completely clear how this will work in reality, but at the moment the developers are planning to make a dragon breeding system similar to Axie infinity where DSA will be used instead of the SLP.
