Timur "Ahilles" Kulgumukhametov, coach of
1win Team, expressed his disappointment with the conditions for his team at The International 2024. He is frustrated that the practice facilities are not very convenient for the coach and manager, and that players have to share rooms.
He shared his thoughts on his Telegram channel.
"We arrived well, just waiting for Zhora from France in the morning. The bus that met us was cool with light effects. Practice facilities are okay. But there isn't much space for the manager or analyst to sit. Maybe I’ll show it later. We’re sleeping two per room. This is disappointing for me as I have sleep issues"
He noted that while the players were greeted warmly, the practice facilities did not account for the coach and manager's needs. However, Anton "Dyrachyo" Shkredov from
Gaimin Gladiators showed how the practice rooms look, indicating that there are 6 computers available, which suggests that there is some space for the coach.
It’s also worth mentioning that
Cloud9 paid for their team to have more comfortable conditions during the Dota 2 World Championship.
